Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost. John Quincy Adams
I came across this interesting article from POLITICO. As I read the article, I was astounded by the comments from the Democrats and Democratic pundits.
- “We withdrew from the accounts of voters and now we need to pay them back,” said Nathan Daschle, executive director of the Democratic Governors Association. “We are having these conversations right now about what independents need to see and hear.”
-“This is what’s particularly heartbreaking: There is a real sense that no one in Congress is standing up for them,” said Myers. “It’s a real problem for messaging for us.”
What neither the Democrats nor Republicans seem to get is that it is about "PRINCIPLE", not "PARTY" stupid! People are tired of this "party bashing". People are fed up with both Republicans and Democrats! We don't care what "PARTY" is in power, what we want is "PRINCIPLE" and "COMMON SENSE". We don't care what you have "GIVEN" us, we care about what you have "TAKEN AWAY".

After the TEA Parties and town halls, I am surprised by the denseness.
Quite frankly, I'm glad neither party is getting it right now. Keep wringing your hands career politicians! I've chuckled over the last few days at the pundits trying to explain why Sarah Palin is popular. I've heard everything from "Freak-Show" to the "Quintessential Woman". I think Sarah is laughing, too. I think that she gets it...
