Every Sept 11 brings mixed feelings. 9/11 is my dear mother's birthday. For that I am thankful to God that he chose this wonderful woman to be my mother. Sadly, Mom passed away 3 years ago, but I know that one day I will get to wish her "Happy Birthday" again.
Of course 9/11 is the day to remember the worst attack on American soil in our nation's history. Not from a foreign power, but an organized band of Islamic radical cowards whose only excuse was our freedom and liberty. While we remember those we lost on that day and those service men and women who we have since lost in this struggle, make no apologies for America's freedom and liberty. To do so, would only diminish their sacrifice and America's just cause.
Reflect, but be proud. America is the most compassionate, sacrificing, and just nation on this earth. Does she have faults? Absolutely! Should she apologize? Not no, but hell no! Never forget the contributions in government, industry, agriculture, arts, justice, and democratic principles. Most of all, never forget the blood, sweat, and tears that Americans have shed for the good of all mankind.
Be Proud and Stay Classy America!
